Holman and Wholesome had a whole lot of fun together serving at the Octavius V. Catto Family School on April 22.
Approximately 30 Holman employees came to the school to participate in various service projects for a Holman Days of Caring event.
Members of the Holman team helped bag and distribute groceries to more than 200 families who came to the Catto School for Wholesome Riches’ Love Your Neighbor free food distribution.
Additionally, Holman employees joined in the spirit of Earth Day by sprucing up the school grounds and student gardens. They teamed up to pull weeds, remove dead plants and spread mulch so that students could better enjoy the outdoor spaces at their school. The team even moved and broke down old book cases that were crowding the school’s library. Wholesome Riches and Holman have enjoyed a fruitful partnership for several years and April’s Holman Day of Caring is a perfect example of how local businesses and nonprofits can make a difference together!
