BNI Washington Township Gets Involved and Invested

Being a part of the BNI Washington Township Chapter, has been a great connection and has provided countless opportunities for collaboration! Business Network International (BNI) members have been an encouraging agent to our mission, donating goods and volunteering alongside our team.

BNI Members have contributed in many different ways so far this year! George donated hand sanitizer to each school. Debbie, Susan, Rich, Dave, Jeff, Angela and more donated reusable bags for use throughout the month. Harrah, Jessica, Raya, Colin, Nolan, Chris and Demetrius have all volunteered at food distribution events, providing students an example of servant-leadership, working hard alongside them and serving the community!

At Octavius V. Catto Family School this month, Chris Blaker from Somebeach Services connected with students at the end of the distribution, to provide encouragement and discuss resilience and entrepreneurship. Sharing his personal story of overcoming the extremely challenging obstacles was a great encouragement to the students as many of them could relate. Chris shared about his personal journey of starting a business and the importance of developing professional skills as a young person. Students were inspired and motivated that this too could be their story one day.

The amazing thing is, we are less than two months in as official members at BNI, and so much has come out of this partnership. We’re so excited to see what the future holds as we continue to collaborate with BNI! Hear more about BNI Washington Township HERE
